NRAP provides a diverse schedule of recovery oriented meetings ranging from twelve step meetings like AA and NA to meetings that encourage and provide structure for overall wellness and growth. While NRAP has the benefit and guidance of both a Program Coordinator and a Professional Program Director, many of the meetings and support groups that are offered are facilitated by the students. This allows students to form positive connections with each-other, bond and provides a more flexible schedule for meeting attendance in-between classes. All meetings take place in the NRAP Lounge WRB #1001. Keep an eye on the calendar as we update it often with exciting events and meeting times.
Please check the calendar for current meeting schedule.

Recovery R5K Run/Walk & Celebration
Nevada’s Recovery and Prevention invites you to join us in celebrating Recovery Month by registering to attend our Recovery 5k run/walk Celebration. September is National Recovery Month which is observed to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can empower those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives.
NRAP’s Recovery Run/Walk & Celebration is held to promote community health and wellness, celebrate individuals in recovery, and reduce the stigma often associated with the disease of addiction. The R5K provides an opportunity for participants to walk/run in honor of someone they know touched by this disease, followed by a recovery celebration open to all community members. The post-race celebration is free and open to the public regardless of 5k participation. The celebration will include food, family activities, and local guest speakers and advocates who are in recovery. Community organizations will provide information on local services and present on relevant topics. Learn more here.
